Lora, the founder, owner, and chef of The Bumblebee, finds her inspiration from her pastry education in France and her love for heirloom recipes. Her blend of wholesome, classic American desserts with elegant French techniques results in food that is both familiar and new.
Born in 1962, Betty spent her early years as a passenger shuttle for a local fair parking lot. After making her way to Illinois, Lora found her and brought her here to Denver where she not only got spruced up, but also found her forever home as The Bumblebee.
A petite P-30 van, she makes the perfect dessert truck for Bumblebee street sweets and she looks forward to seeing you out there.
